Registration for the iXS International Rookies Championships 2025 opens today! From 19 to 21 September, young downhillers from all over the world will meet at the Bikepark Schladming for the unofficial world championships in a class of their own. If you want to be there, you should register as soon as possible!

High Stakes at Dachstein

After countless years as the central highlight of the Rookies Cup, this year the iXS International Rookies Championship will be held as a prestigious competition in its own right. The venue: the legendary Bikepark Schladming, which has already hosted several World and European Cup races - and is therefore the perfect backdrop for up-and-coming talent from all over the world.

The track

The course covers around 1,500 metres and 354 vertical metres - challenging, technical and varied. From the start on the Planai cable car through wooded passages to the finish stadium, it has many sporting capers and rewards clean lines with speed. One thing is clear: this is downhill racing at an absolutely international level.

Registration is now open - you can secure your starting place until 18 September at 23:59. The entry fee is €65 plus fees. Participants without a UCI licence in Austria need annual insurance through Cycling Austria (€49 or €65, depending on place of residence), minors also need a declaration of consent.
