Following an impressive debut last year, the 2026 Rookies Cup returns to the Kopřivná Bike Park. The unique track, the friendly atmosphere and a weekend packed with racing instantly made the Czech Republic round a firm favourite on the calendar. From 7 to 9 August 2026, the Rookies Cup will once again be held at the Kopřivná Bike Park in Mala Morávka. Registration is now open, and the next generation of downhill riders can look forward to another special event in the heart of the Czech Republic. The track measures around 1,150 metres with 190 metres of elevation gain, providing the perfect stage for thrilling races and close finishes. 

A bike park with character

Kopřivná already made a lasting impression last year. The race impressed with an exceptional course, a relaxed atmosphere and organisation that was praised by riders, parents and teams alike. The 2025 season finale turned out to be an unforgettable weekend full of excitement and great racing. Nestled in the beautiful landscape of the Altvater Mountains, the bike park offers everything that makes for a modern race weekend: a lift, a hotel, catering and trails right on the doorstep. 

The track

In 2026, we can once again look forward to a course that offers everything that makes downhill so thrilling. Technical natural sections, roots, rocks, jumps and creative lines ensure that both riding technique and courage are required. The HYPA HYPA DH Trail, built specifically for the Rookies Cup, proved last year that it punishes mistakes but rewards clean runs with plenty of speed. Register now – see you in the Czech Republic!
