Oberhof - sounds like biathlon and cross-country skiing? Not this weekend. From 20 to 22 June, the tradition-steeped town will belong entirely to the downhill kids when the PROPAIN Rookies Cup gets underway for the second time this season. The course is 1.1 kilometres long, technically demanding and has 120 metres of downhill track with everything that makes the youngsters' hearts beat faster: Root patches, jumps and plenty of speed.

High expectations

The course in Oberhof is not new territory - many young riders have already had their first taste of racing here and are returning with new skills. For many, it is the next step on the way to the licence class. And for the spectators? The best view of up-and-coming talent, killer styles and plenty of passion for the sport.
