Anyone who doesn’t know Rosa Zierl has been missing out on the world of downhill racing over the last few years. The young junior rider has had a fast and impressive start to her career. We interviewed her and asked her all about her latest pride and joy – her Red Bull helmet.

The surprise of the year

A few weeks ago, Red Bull welcomed a new rider to the team. None other than Valentina Höll surprised Rosa with a new helmet. The news went viral. You can find out the whole story in our latest video on YouTube.

In the past...

Rosa has had a truly impressive career. She began gaining her first racing experience in the Rookies Cup. It soon became clear that no one else could really keep up with her. A number of victories in the Rookies Cup, victory at the Rookies World Championships, and later wins in the Downhill Cup and the EDC were already a sign of her enormous talent. 

And so it continued...

in her career with her first major team. The Cube Next Generation Team recognised her talent and gave her a new home. She soon moved on to the Cube Factory Racing Team. Her first season in the World Cup was, as expected, impressive. She secured her first podium finishes there too, and later even won the Junior Women’s World Championship title! That’s why you now see her on the track more often in her World Champs kit...

You can't do it on your own...

She’s had plenty of supporters and fans along the way. Naturally, Rosa is very grateful to her family. She says that her brother Anton, in particular, has helped make her faster. She now feels very much at home in her team. There are mechanics, line scouts, physiotherapists and many others who support her and help her to focus entirely on what matters most – being a racer!
