The excellent Racepark Schulenberg is stop #5 of the PROPAIN Rookies Cup 2025. The popular bike park in the Harz Mountains impresses with its challenging trails and cosy flair.
The team around Patric Dreher and Raceteam Schulenberg has been looking after this pure gravity bike park for over 15 years. In the meantime, Racepark Schulenberg has developed into one of the best and most popular bike parks in Germany. Racepark Schulenberg is a bike park built for bikers and not for tourists. This is evident from the design of the trails and the friendly atmosphere. Although the trails tend to be more difficult, young riders will also get their money's worth here. After numerous descents, cold drinks and tasty treats from the barbecue await bikers at the valley station.

The Track
The bike park's downhill trail is actually a suitable racing descent. This line has existed since the beginnings of the bike park, but the operators and trail builders in Schulenberg are not satisfied with that. As is customary in the Racepark, a line will be laid through the entire bike park especially for the race in order to create the best possible downhill course. It will be challenging, not easy and will feature smaller jumps. As a classic low mountain region, the Harz is blessed with sufficient forest, provided it is free of bark beetles. The widespread spruce monoculture with its shallow roots determines the ground. The topography provides a decent gradient, with a good 165 metres of depth to cover over a length of 1400m. Tough root passages and recurring stone fields are sweetened with perfectly shaped berms and spiced up with the odd jump.

However, the exact layout of the course will not be revealed until the race weekend in August. A good mix of natural trails and bike park constructions can be deliberately assumed.
