If a participant authorizes a team manager, he accepts the following terms.
A team manager acts on behalf of and in the name of the participant, so he is eligible for race registrations and payments. In addition he is entitled to change details in the personal profile of the participant. The participant accepts that the team manager is able to perceive and use personal information.
The participant studies the respective terms concerning the race participation and accepts these terms. A transfer of the terms to the team manager is not possible.
Money-Back-Service
By booking of the Money-Back-Service the participant accepts the general conditions. The terms of use are available during the registration process, as well as in the download section of the website. The participant allows the use of personal data for the process of accepting the conditions.
Contractual partner
By authorization of a team manager the participant acknowledges that the team manager acts for the participant, so he accepts a contract between the participant and the local organizer.
Contract period and termination
The team manager account is a subscription with a term of 12 months. The account expires automatically after one year for further 12 months, unless you have cancelled the account. You will be informed by e-mail as soon as your team manager account will be extended.
You can discontinue your team manager account at your profile. Please log in and click on „Team Manager“. You will find the button „Discontinue the subscription“. You have to discontinue the subscription 3 days before the date of expiry of your yearly team manager account.
Cancellation right
You may cancel your team manager function within the first 14 days after the conclusion. In that case, we will refund your full fee, as far as you did not use any team manager function benefits so far. You can exercise your right of withdrawal in written form with an unmistakable declaration about your decision to: Racement GmbH, Bücheloher Str. 20, 98693 Ilmenau, Deutschland
You have to mail the letter within the period of 14 days to observe the deadline.
Fees and renewal
The annual membership fee for the team manager account is EUR 50,00. The fee will be paid via PayPal. The participant accepts the conditions of PayPal and consents to the process of paying the fee. The fee for further periods will be automatically debited from the PayPal account of the user.
Participation fee for race registrations
The withdrawal of the participation fee will be accomplished for invoice and on behalf of the local organizer.
Responsibilities
Riders attend the race on their own account and at their own risk. The rider is responsible for the safety of his bike and clothes. The organization is not responsible and cannot be held responsible for any injuries and damages as results of any action during the whole racing weekend.
All riders are responsible for insurance cover concerning damages based on the participations in the race.
Technical condition of bikes, equipment and clothing
Every rider is responsible for the bike, the material and the protection equipment. The condition, quality and construction are to ensure the safety for riders, competitors or other persons. The equipment/safety gear must be marked with a seal of approval of an internationally recognized authority.
Waiver of liability
With their registration the participants relinquish any claim or regress towards the organizer, designee, commissaries, authorities or any other person in association with the event.
The liability waiver comes into effect upon registration with the organization. Over and above this no further claims can be made. Specifically excluded from liability are intercycle AG, Sports Nut GmbH and Racement GmbH. The organization keeps the right to make any necessary changes or even to cancel the whole race according to safety problems, official orders, government laws and other unforeseen events at any time in the race without obligations regarding indemnifications.
The subscribers of the registration accept the terms and conditions of the regulations concerning the implementation of the competition, other specific determinations of the event and the responsibilities and waiver of liability.
The participants explicitly confirm the correctness of all data of the registration.
Withdrawal
The racing officials hold the right to withdraw starters if they feel there is a danger for the starter or any other person.
Non-attendance
If a participant is not able to enter a race all charges will lapse. The starting fee cannot be reimbursed, except the participant enabled cancellation insurance during the registration process.
The transfer/delivery of a starting place to third parties is not possible.
Supplementary provision
With their registration participants automatically consent with the regulations of the respective races.
Additional Information concerning safety regulations by the national federations and UCI
In addition to this agreement the organization refers to the safety regulations and racing agreement defined by national cycling federations and the UCI.
